The Citizen EW2293-56D is a Corso, and it does something unusual for a watch this size: it is rated to 100 metres. Most 27mm women's watches stop at 30 or 50 metres, which means taking them off before a swim, a shower or the washing-up. This one you can simply leave on.
It does not look like a watch built for that. The case and bracelet are high-polish gold-tone stainless steel, and the dial is mother-of-pearl — cut from natural shell, so the iridescence shifts as the light moves and no two dials are identical. A date window sits at 3 o'clock. It reads as a dress watch and behaves like a sports one.
The case is 27mm across and 8.8mm thick, on a multi-link bracelet with a push-button fold-over clasp. Inside, Eco-Drive Calibre E011 runs on any light with roughly six months of reserve and accuracy of about ±15 seconds a month. No battery, ever.
